Hi Mark and Jane,

From the very first conversation on the phone with Jane, I felt that all of my affairs would be properly taken care of. Jane explained every detail thoroughly. Upon arrival of my very first time in Colorado, my family and I met with Jane and Mark at their beautiful home.

They were warm, welcoming and hospitable. We went over a few more details and we were assured that everything will be fine. My husband's ashes were spread over beautiful Pikes Peak. Everything went as planned. I couldn't have asked for a better send off and final resting place.

Thanks to Homeward Bound Aerial Services, I was able to carry out my husband's last wishes so beautifully and effortlessly.

Hi Mark and Jane,

I just wanted to thank you for the thoughtful, compassionate way you handled scattering Josh’s ashes. It was the perfect way to send him off to his final resting place in the mountains. I can't think of a better place for him.

He was really fortunate to have many friends who cared so much about him. Many were able to be there with him, and many more who couldn't be there in person were there with him in spirit. He lived a really beautiful life. I can't think of better place for him.

I've attached the photos we were able to get of Josh floating over the mountains. Unfortunately, we didn't get any of the plane releasing the ashes. Everyone was just taking in the moment. Thank you again for everything you did to make the occasion so special.

Regards,

Jeremy, Jeremy and John

Jane,

My oldest brother Mark has provided an excerpt of the video he shot that morning, I have copied him on this in the event you have any questions for him on the actual footage.

I want to sincerely thank you and Mark both for all the guidance, patience and thoughtfulness you brought at a very emotional and trying time in our family's lives with the unexpected passing of my brother George. I can't put into words how much it meant to me when you said to me to let you reach out and check out the possibilities with Winter Park when I shared with you all that was one of the places George loved there in Colorado. From our initial connection as I was learning more about the possibilities for ash scattering all the way until that actual morning while we were headed up the mountain, each and every connection with you all was so gracious and kind.

The respect you all showed to me and my family by extension, was so amazing and I will be forever grateful for the role you all played in what turned out to be the most fitting and moving memorial service I have ever attended. Several of my family members mentioned too that the lingering of the ash cloud over the ski run, with Mt Parry in the background, will forever be a beautiful memory. A memory like that vs the memory of George's passing like he did is something that I believe will sustain us in the future.

Thank you again for everything. I'll be sending some photos at a separate time, we are still gathering those.

Best,

Judy

Dear Jane and Mark,

I have attempted to write several times but somehow the exact words have escaped me. My family would tell you this is a rare occurrence. So even today, almost two weeks after you set the earthly remains of my beloved Bruce free of his earthly bonds, I am not sure if I can adequately express my feelings.

What constantly comes to mind when I read your wonderfully descriptive letter and look at the e-mail pictures of that day, is….this was just what he asked for “scatter my ashes into the wind and over the water”.

I know Bruce and our precious cats Mimi and Mandy are at peace. Even as my heart still aches, because they are free from pain and together again.

May God bless you for providing this wonderful way to allow us this step of healing in our grief journey and to participate in saying : Goodbye.

Warmest Regards,

Sandy

Jane:

Words are just not enough when it comes to attempting to express to you and your family the gratitude myself and my entire family have for what you have done for my brother and for all of us. The services you provide are nothing less than heaven's work.

Pikes Peak, Colorado

The entire experience at the top of Pikes Peak ... the sight of your airplane and the releasing of my brother's ashes followed by rose petals was magical, magestic, and beyond beautiful. I am left with nothing but peace in my heart. We have given my brother a more loving send off than I could have ever dreamt up. It was absolutely heavenly!

(these words just do not give justice for how I feel about all you have done for me and for my brother)

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Sharon
